Holcombe Organics created FurRefresh out of necessity in an animal rescue environment. The condition of which the animals were arriving was a growing concern, and most were too traumatized to bathe without risking personal harm. Also, a good, chemical-free dry shampoo was nearly impossible to find in retail stores. This lead Holcombe Organics to develop FurRefresh — a dry shampoo made with culinary ingredients that could be licked by the animals without harm. It also cleans, conditions and brightens fur, calms itchy skin and repels insects.
Holcombe Organics came to Custom Paper Tubes to produce cost-effective and eco-friendly shaker top containers that would allow for easy application of the all-natural, dry pet shampoo. Read the rest of this entry »

Brown Bag Soap Company is named after a term for carrying bottled alcohol in brown bags or “brown bagging it.” The company was started after mother-daughter pair, Vicki and Hannah, discovered making soap with beer from a local Atlanta, GA brewery proved beneficial to skin. Brown Bag Soap Co.’s mission is to provide natural hand-made soaps to customers, using as many local ingredients as possible; while doing something they enjoy.
Brown Bag Soap Co.’s main passion is soap making, but they also offer other products, including a line of scented, hand-poured candles. While they use hand-stamped, cut pieces of brown paper bags for their soap labels, Brown Bag Soap Co. needed a unique way to package their candles too. They needed packaging that would reflect their brand, protect their candles and be economic in lower volume as they are a growing start-up company. Read the rest of this entry »

Vermont Nut Free Chocolates’ mission is to provide delicious, high quality treats for everyone to enjoy, while guaranteeing that everything is 100% peanut and tree nut free, as well as free of cross-contamination with nuts. The company’s founder, Gail Elvidge, started the company out of frustration for finding peanut and tree nut free products for her son, who has a severe peanut allergy. There were no safe chocolate products on the market that had not been cross-contaminated with nuts, so she brought to life a company that provides allergy safe, all peanut and tree nut free treats, such as granola bars, chocolate bars, and high-end truffles for those with food allergies. The result is a 3-piece telescope container with Kraft outer wrap and metal ends. The metal ends, along with a thicker inside wall, protect the glass bottle inside and double as an attractive, rugged retail package. Adhesive labels are applied to the Kraft brown outside of the containers to differentiate the various products packaged inside. Read the rest of this entry »

Dry & Store recognized the need for a portable, travel-size “kit” of Dry & Store products that their customers could pack and take along for short trips and outings. The kit, which includes 1 Dry Caddy jar and 6 Dry Caddy discs to provide a year’s worth of moisture damage protection, needed to be attractive, maintaining the Dry Caddy branding, but be cost-effective and eco-friendly like their product.
Custom Paper Tubes created a single tube with plastic plug ends for Dry Caddy that not only fits the products for the Dry Caddy kit inside perfectly, but can withstand a varying degree of temperatures without warping that most metal or full plastic containers cannot. The convoluted label on the outside of the container is attractive and shows off the Dry Caddy brand. Read the rest of this entry »
