Congratulations to the 2016 Spring Graduates of the Ohio River Valley Business Development Program!
This April, Custom Paper Tubes’ owner, Jodi Lombard along with a group of other certified WBE small business owners, graduated from the Ohio River Valley Business Development Program (ORVBDP), sponsored by Procter & Gamble. The business development program, developed over two years ago and continuously evolving, provides a highly interactive, specialized curriculum geared toward growing small businesses. With a focus on the unique challenges these small business owners face, the program covers topics such as current state-of-business, identifying growth opportunities and developing a growth model, budgeting, sales and marketing strategies as well as additional systems and ways to improve business profitability. This highly selective program is approximately sixty hours in duration and is limited to ten ORV-WBC certified women business owners per class. Applicants must be WBENC certified, have a minimum of two years in business or comparable business experience and at least $500,000 in annual gross revenue.
